WAA Seniors (13-18 years)

WAA Seniors is our acting class for 13 to 18-year-olds. WAA Seniors learn the fundamentals of acting and performance with a greater focus on truth, and semester two involves the students working with a professional writer and director to devise their own webseries, write it, audition for it, rehearse and perform on a professional set. The final product is screened at a cinema and is available to students to assist with approaching agents and for showreel material. As well as lots of fun games, team-building and communication exercises, core acting skills taught include:

  • Creating a safe space

  • Acting truthfully under imaginary circumstances

  • Vocal work

  • Physicality work
